As we reach the half way point of arguably dreariest month of the year, seeking comfort and joy in the small things is more important than ever. With fewer distractions and a slower tempo, we can recharge our batteries and fully enjoy the pleasures of cooking hearty, nourishing meals, catch up with friends over a coffee or glass of wine, and sit down and reflect on what this new year might bring our way.
